Appeal for witnesses after man punched in face and knocked unconscious

Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was punched and knocked unconscious in Kingsteignton.

The 55 year old victim was punched in the face by an unknown offender as he walked on Gestridge Road between 11.30pm and midnight on Saturday 31st March.

The victim fell to the floor where he further injured his head and became unconscious. Two unknown members of the public found him on the pavement and took him home.

The offender is described as a white male in his mid 20s, around 5ft 2inch tall. He is thought to have dark hair, unshaven face and was wearing dark jeans and a leather jacket.
