Fire crews called to fire at railway station toilets

Fire crews were called to a reports of smoke coming from a toilet block at Teignmouth Railway Station.

Two crews from Teignmouth attended the incident today, Friday 1st December just after 4pm.

Crews found smoke and flames coming from the building on arrival.

The fire was extinguished using a hose reel jet.

The interior of the toilet block was severely damaged.

The police were also called to the incident.
