A cat was rescued from the roof of a house in Kingsteignton this morning, 23rd March.

One crew from Newton Abbot were mobilised to the incident in the Priscott Way area following a request for assistance from the RSPCA.

A spokesperson for Newton Abbot Fire Service said on social media:
“A ladder was pitched and Fire Fighter Rob Short climbed up and rescued the cat. Hopefully it’s now curled up happy in the warm,”
