Shedden Hill was closed following the fire at the Sheddon Hall Hotel on Tuesday, 4th June.
On 12th June, Torbay Council stated that it was hoped Shedden would be open by the end of the week but unfortunately, this didn’t happen.
Today, Torbay Council stated: “Unfortunately Shedden Hill will being staying closed for a while longer. There are concerns over the safety of the footpath and wall since the fire damaged building was demolished. We’re working closely with the owner and once we have assurances that the area is safe then we will re-open the road. Sorry for any inconvenience,”
