Cheryl Greenwood from has thanked people who helped her elderly mother, 83 who was knocked over at a pedestrian crossing in Torquay on Tuesday 11th November.
“I would like to thank all who stopped and helped my mum, Mrs Greenwood on Tuesday, when she got knocked over on the pedestrian crossing in St Marychurch,Torquay, including the driver who showed such great concern for her welfare.
“She didn’t break any bones, thankfully, but is badly bruised and feeling very sore today. On reflection she has been extremely lucky,it could easily have been a different story.
“Mum has also asked me to say a huge thank you to everyone on Spotted Torquay who has been enquiring about her welfare. It’s lovely to know that there are such wonderful caring people out there who genuinely care. Thank you all!”
