On Wednesday April 1st at 2.00 until 4.00 Torquay’s historic St Michael’s Chapel will be open to the public
This free event is being organised by Torbay’s Oddfellows.
Local historians Keith Holman and Kevin Dixon will be there to guide visitors around the Chapel and the Meteorological Station and to answer any questions about this fascinating medieval building
The ancient chapel is usually locked up so this is a great opportunity to access one of Torquay’s oldest buildings and an important part of our heritage
All are welcome to join us and experience the space as a place of reflection
St Michael’s Chapel is in the woods opposite Torre Station. The best way to access the site is via the pathway to Chapel Hill Pleasure Grounds in Barton Road
