Police are appealing for information following an assault in Plymouth city centre on Tuesday 13 January.
The incident took place at around 9pm on New George Street, outside the TUI travel store. Officers received reports that a verbal altercation between a man and a woman escalated, with the man allegedly pushing the woman into a wall and pulling her hair.
As part of their investigation, police are keen to speak to a female witness who was in the area at the time and may have information to assist enquiries. She is believed to have blonde or light-coloured hair and was wearing a white coat.
Anyone who believes they may be this witness, or who has information that could help police, is asked to contact officers via 101, quoting reference number 50260010278.
A 33-year-old man from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of assault and has since been released on police bail while further enquiries continue.
