Police are appealing for witness following a collision in Torquay yesterday, which has left a woman in a critical condition in hospital.
Police confirmed this morning that the 21 year old woman from Torquay was in Derriford hospital with life threatening injuries following the collision between the cyclist and a DAF tipper truck on Teignmouth Road yesterday afternoon.
Police have said that the 45-year-old male truck driver, from Torquay, suffered shock but was not injured.
The road was closed for just over five hours while an investigation of the scene took place.
