Bedroom severely damaged in Paignton property fire

Fire crews attended a fire at a property in Paignton last night.

Three appliances one from Paignton, Torquay and Brixham were mobilised following a reports of a fire at the property in Roselands just before 11.30pm.

On arrival, crews found a fire involving first floor bedroom of a semi detached house and got to work using breathing apparatus and hose reels.

Crews extinguished the fire and then ventilated the property using postive pressure ventilation.

The first floor bedroom was severely damaged by fire, remainder of the first floor severely damaged by by heat and smoke.
