When 8 year old Jake Hodge’s aunt had surgery for breast cancer, he wanted to do something special to recognise the treatment and support the Breast Care Unit has given her.

Jake’s mum reported that he just came up with the idea of a sponsored bike ride and got on with it.

His 7½ year old cousin Finlay Lumgair accompanied him on the ride and together they took off around the Kingsteignton area with sponsorship having been donated by friends, family and Original Style (Exeter). The boys did an 8 miles round trip from Kingsteignton to Penn Inn and back raising £446 for Torbay Hospital Breast Care Unit.
