Bridgetown Hill, Totnes closed following serious accident.

Update: The road has reopened. Police are seeking the identity of the man – https://wearesouthdevon.com/police-seek-mans-identity-following-totnes-incident-morning/

The A385 in Totnes is currently closed following a serious accident.

The accident is said to have initially been reported just after midnight.

One man is reported to have been taken to hospital with serious head injuries.

Serious collision investigators have been on scene.

Bridgetown Hill closed is closed around Blackpost Lane junction.

The road is expected to remain closed for some time.

Police are advising that smaller vehicles to divert through Berry Pomeroy.
