Brit Award winning singer-songwriter Jacob Alon to join Lewis Capaldi at Devon headline shows

Multi-award winning contemporary folk artist Jacob Alon is the latest act joining the line up for TK Maxx presents Live at Powderham – as special guest for Lewis Capaldi’s double headline appearance.

The 2026 BRITS Critics Choice and BBC Introducing award winner will join global superstar Lewis Capaldi in the Devon countryside for his two shows on Saturday and Sunday June 27 and 28.

Final tickets are available now via liveatpowderham.com

Jacob, who tonight headlines Edinburgh’s Assembly Rooms as part of the BRITS Week series of shows in association with War Child, achieved almost unanimous acclaim for their Mercury Prize nominated debut album In Limerence – before becoming the first Scottish artist to receive the BBC Introducing Award.

The album introduced Fife-born Jacob as one of the fiercest and most beguiling of voices in contemporary folk music. But to limit them solely as a folk artist would be doing a disservice. Theirs is a voice to stop traffic, a storyteller to provoke conversation, and a musician shaking off the shackles of any genre specifics.

Their raw power shines through clearest with just a voice and guitar, but they have the personality and panache of a pop star, described by The Times as someone “breathing new life into the singer-songwriter genre” and by The Independent as “one of the most remarkable voices of their generation”.

TK Maxx presents Live at Powderham runs for four nights from Thursday June 25 to Sunday June 28, and also features headline shows from vocal powerhouse Teddy Swims and seven-time GRAMMY winner Alanis Morissette.

Taking place at Powderham Castle estate, near Exeter, TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham is organised by Live Nation promoters Cuffe and Taylor, known for curating world-class events in unique locations.

Cuffe and Taylor co-founder Peter Taylor said: “Jacob Alon is a rapidly rising artist whose music will only become more widely known and celebrated as the year goes on.

“They have had an incredible start to 2026, winning both the BBC Introducing and BRITS Critics Choice awards, two huge nods of approval from the music industry – and we cannot wait to see them on stage here at Powderham as Lewis Capaldi’s special guest in the beautiful Devon countryside.

“Sunday night’s show was an instant sell out – and there are limited tickets still available for Saturday’s show, so don’t miss out!
