Can you help return items of jewellery to rightful owners

Police in Exmouth who discovered a number of jewellery and ornamental items at a property in Lympstone are hoping the public can help them reunite the goods with their rightful owners.

While searching a property in the village officers came across the items which includes locket, brooch and handwritten note.

DC Carly Davies from Exmouth CID said: “These items must hold real sentimental value for someone and we hope either the owners will come forward or someone will recognise the people in these photographs and get in touch.   It would be a great shame if these items are kept in a police store when we are sure someone would love to have them back.”

The property may belong to a number of people and police are currently investigating how it came to be at the address.

Anyone with information should contact the police by phoning 101 and asking for DC 458 Carly Davies from Exmouth CID. DC Davies can also be reached via mobile on 0771 3309364. Please leave a message.
