Police Exeter

The fire service were called to a car fire at Higher Ramshill Lane, Paignton just after 5.30am this morning (31 May)

One appliance from Paignton was mobilised but had difficulty accessing the car due to narrow lanes and low hanging branches so the small 4×4 pumping appliance from Paignton was mobilised.

On arrival crews found the vehicle had almost completely burnt out.

They dampened down using a Dry Powder extinguisher and a High Pressure Lance to make the vehicle safe.

The vehicle was left in the hands of the police.
