Car fire in Salcombe this morning

The Fire Service were called to a report of a car on fire Cliff Road, Salcombe this morning just before 11am.

One fire appliance from Salcombe was mobilised to this incident.

On arrival crews confirmed one car well alight and got to work extinguishing using two breathing apparatus and one compressed air foam jet.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
