Car fire near Newton Abbot

Emergency services were called to a car fire on the A38 this morning (2 June)

One fire engine from Newton Abbot attended the scene on A38 Southbound, between Drumbridges and Goodstone Cross near Newton Abbot.

Crews found there had been a fire in the engine compartment and made the vehicle and scene safe.

One lane was blocked during the incident and there were traffic delays.
