Cavanna Homes charity golf day raises £7500 for Children’s Hospice South West

Cavanna Homes has raised £7500 for Children’s Hospice South West following a successful charity golf day which brought together colleagues, suppliers, subcontractors and business partners from across the South West.

The event saw teams take to the course in glorious sunshine before coming together for an evening charity auction in support of the regional children’s hospice charity.

The day formed part of Cavanna Homes’ ongoing commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates, with funds raised helping Children’s Hospice South West continue its vital work supporting babies, children, young people and their families across the region.

Paul Moran, Managing Director at Cavanna Homes, said: “We were delighted to welcome so many people to our charity golf day and are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown throughout the event.

“Children’s Hospice South West provides invaluable support to families facing some of life’s most difficult challenges, and we are proud to be able to contribute towards the fantastic work the charity carries out every day.

“The weather was certainly on our side, which helped make for a brilliant day of golf, networking and fundraising. We’d like to thank everyone who attended, donated auction prizes and supported the event.”

Teams from a range of organisations connected to the housebuilding and construction sector took part in the day, helping to create a memorable event while raising funds for a worthy cause.

Children’s Hospice South West supports more than 500 families across the South West, providing hospice care, emergency care, palliative care and bereavement support for children with life-limiting conditions and their loved ones.

The funds raised through Cavanna Homes’ charity golf day will help the charity continue delivering these essential services to families across the region.
