Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision in Paignton.
Emergency services were called to Marldon Road at around 5.20pm on Monday 4 May after reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a nine-year-old girl.
The child, who is from Paignton, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital for treatment.
Marldon Road was closed for several hours while officers carried out an investigation at the scene, with members of the Roads Policing Team thanking the public for their patience during the closure.
Devon and Cornwall Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have relevant dash-cam footage, to come forward.
