Coastguard called to unconcious woman on Berry Head

Update: Man airlifted to hospital from Hopes Nose, Torquay

Berry Head Coastguard were called out to an unconscious woman at Berry Head today (10/10)

The team were tasked along with the Senior Coastal Operations Officer at 4.30pm. The team provided immediate care.

The casualty was treated for a pre existing medical condition by paramedics, after monitoring her, she was left in the care of her family.

The Coastguard have thanked members of the public who raised the alarm and cared for the woman’s child until help arrived.
