Thousands of people flocked to Torquay town centre today to see the Coca Cola Christmas truck.

The truck was parked outside of Primark in Union Street until 8pm this evening.

Queues formed early after the truck arrived this morning and started taking photos of people at around Midday.

Photos that were taken by their team will be available to download online in a few days.

Lots of people took their own pics too and here are just a few of them:

Lucy James from Paignton told us “I came over especially to see this, last time I went up to Exeter. It just feels like the start of Christmas. There is a great atmosphere here today”

Thomas Cann from Torquay had been queuing for 20 minutes when we spoke to him. He said “Friends of mine came over earlier and there was barely any queue, I didn’t think it would be quite this busy but now I am here I may as well wait. I am surprised that the shops didn’t open late tonight. I have never known town to be this busy”

Did you go to see the truck – what did you think?
