The English Riviera Airshow will return to Paignton Green in 2027, with organisers confirming that the popular aviation event will take place from Friday 4 June to Sunday 6 June.
The three-day spectacle will once again bring together thrilling flying displays, family entertainment and activities along the seafront, as the English Riviera prepares to welcome thousands of visitors for another celebration of aviation.
The event is delivered through a partnership between Torbay Council, the English Riviera BID Company, local businesses, community organisations and aviation supporters, with everyone working together to make the Airshow a major highlight of the region’s events calendar.
The announcement follows the success of the 2025 Airshow, which attracted almost 200,000 visitors to Paignton over the weekend. More than 100,000 people attended on the Saturday alone, with favourable weather helping the event’s 10th anniversary celebrations become a major success.
Planning is now underway for the 2027 event, with organisers inviting businesses, organisations and residents to get involved from the early stages.
Opportunities include sponsorship packages for businesses looking to support one of the English Riviera’s flagship events, as well as opportunities for traders, food vendors and exhibitors to showcase their products and services to a large audience. Volunteers are also being encouraged to join the Airshow team and help deliver the event.
Councillor Jackie Thomas, Torbay Council’s Cabinet Member for Tourism, Culture and Events and Corporate Services, said the Airshow was about much more than the aircraft displays.
She said: “We are delighted to announce the dates for 2027 and have already started planning another spectacular event for residents and visitors to enjoy.
“The English Riviera Airshow is much more than a weekend of incredible flying displays. It is a celebration of our community, a showcase for the English Riviera, and an event that brings significant benefits to local businesses and our local economy.
