The line at Dawlish reopened this morning reconnecting Cornwall and a large part of Devon with the rest of the Country by rail.

Dawlish railway damage

The line was badly damaged in February during the storms that battered the coast line.
The track was left suspended in mid air after the sea wall collapsed and the foundations were washed away.

The first passenger train on the line was the 05:34 BST from Exeter to Paignton.
