Royal Devon Hospitals Charity was just one charity to have benefitted from funding. The charity, which supports two acute hospitals, 17 community hospitals, and specialist care across North, Mid, and East Devon, enhances NHS funding by improving equipment, facilities, training, and research. Barratt Homes’donation supported the Cherrybrook day case chemotherapy unit at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

Debbie Allen, Community Fundraiser at the Royal Devon Hospitals Charity, said: “In these increasingly challenging times, with rising costs impacting us all, every single penny donated makes a tremendous difference. This donation will allow us to continue providing essential support to patients and staff at Cherrybrook, ensuring they receive the best care and resources possible. We are deeply grateful to Barratt for their generosity and commitment to helping us make a real impact.”

Andrea, sales director at Barratt Homes, added: “We’re proud to have supported so many incredible charities including and other community groups over the past 12 months that work tirelessly to improve the lives of those in need. Their dedication and impact are truly inspiring, and we’re delighted that our donations have played a part in helping them reach even more people. As we move into 2025, we remain committed to making a positive difference in our communities and continuing our support for these vital organisations.”

Every month, each Barratt Homes division can donate £1,500 to a local concern that works to improve the quality of life for those living in their area.

Barratt Homes are building high-quality and energy efficient Homes across Devon, including at Hampton Mill and Okement Park in Okehampton and Victoria Heights in Alphington.
