Yesterday, residents of Shaldon welcomed a new addition to the village when Veyseys Butchers officially opened its doors at 8am.
Already well known across Devon for quality local meat, traditional butchery and friendly customer service, the family run business is expanding from its established Cullompton shop to bring the same high standards to the heart of Shaldon.
Owners Phil and Ria are looking forward to becoming part of the local community and providing customers with a wide selection of locally sourced meats, homemade sausages, burgers and deli favourites
The new shop represents an investment in the village high street and reflects the growing demand for independent food retailers offering knowledgeable service and high-quality local produce.
Customers were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne as Veyseys Butchers officially opened its doors in Shaldon. Throughout the day, glasses were raised to celebrate the occasion as a steady stream of customers visited the new shop. Photographs captured the memorable moments, with local residents, holidaymakers, friends and family joining the celebrations to mark the start of the business’s newest chapter.
