Fire crews were called to reports of a shed on fire, possibly spreading to a building this afternoon.

Two fire appliances from Brixham, two fire appliances from Paignton plus one water bowser from Torquay were mobilised to the incident near Britannia Halt, Dart Valley Railway in Kingswear.

On arrival crews found a fire involving a garden shed measuring 2m x 3m and got to work using 2 jets.

The fire had spread from the railway line involving shrubbery and cabling.

Some adjacent trees were also involved in fire.
