Emergency services were called to reports of a dog stuck on a cliff in Babbacombe, Torquay this afternoon.
One fire engine from Torquay was mobilised to the incident just before 3.30pm today.
Specialist rescue teams from Camels Head fire station also attended the incident near Babbacombe cliff railway.
The fire service said:
“On arrival, crews confirmed one golden retriever dog stuck 20 meters down a cliff. Crews secured the dog using lines, strops and a triple extension ladder. The golden retriever was rescued by fire service personnel uninjured.”
