Fire service called to rescue impaled seagull

The fire service were called for  seagull chick impaled on ANTI gull spikes on a roof on Totnes.

One appliance from Totnes was mobilised following a request from the RSPCA as a seagull chick was impaled  on a roof on Ticklemore Street.

An aerial ladder platform from Torquay was also asked to attend.

The road was closed in order to set up the platform.

The seagull was rescued from the anti gull spikes on the ridge line of a 3 storey property and left in the care of the RSPCA inspector.
