Fire service called to tractor fire near Newton Abbot

Man suffers from smoke inhalation following fire in Paignton

The fire service were called to reports of a tractor fire in Denbury this afternoon.

Two appliances from Newton Abbot were mobilised to reports of a tractor fire on a private lane at around 2.30pm.

The vehicle and trailer were well alight.

Crews used 2 Breathing Apparatus and 2 hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

The tractor was severely damaged by fire.

The cause was believed to be accidental.
