Fire service reunited child with parents after they get locked out on balcony

The Fire Service was called to a flat in Barton, Torquay this morning.

They received a call reporting three adults stuck on the balcony of a fourth floor flat and one sixteen month old child locked inside the flat.

One fire appliance from Torquay attended.

Upon arrival fire crews requested the attendance of the aerial ladder platform from.

Fire crews gained entry to the balcony using the aerial ladder platform.

Fire crews also used small tools to gain entry into the flat via the balcony door.

The child was reunited with its parents.
