The environment agency have issued a flood alert for South Devon.
The environment agency has said:
“Flooding is possible early Tuesday morning, and throughout Tuesday. Heavy rain showers are expected on Monday night and throughout Tuesday. This flood alert is based on the forecast and rising river levels are expected early Tuesday morning.”
Alerts have been issued for the South Devon coast and various South Devon Rivers (Including the rivers Teign, Bovey and Lemon)

The Met office have issued a ‘yellow warning’ for rain, saying:
“Periods of rain and strong winds will affect southwestern parts of Britain from later on Monday, with the rain becoming particularly heavy at times on Tuesday before clearing during Wednesday morning”
“The public should be aware of the risk of localised flooding, perhaps exacerbated by fallen leaves blocking drainage courses”
