This summer, Torre Abbey invites you to enjoy the magic of outdoor theatre! Set against the backdrop of its stunning historical gardens, they have an exhilarating lineup of performances.
From classic Shakespearean drama to lively comedies, and a children’s focussed production, there’s something for everybody to enjoy. Bring your friends, family, and a picnic, to experience live theatre in their stunning historical setting.
Highlights of the season
Among the highlights is the highly anticipated production of Romeo and Juliet, brought to life by the dynamic 440 Theatre on Saturday 28 June from 5pm.
In their first-ever full-length production, 440 Theatre will turn Shakespeare’s iconic tragedy into an outrageous comedy, promising to entertain audiences all evening. This unique take on Romeo and Juliet injects vibrant energy, humour, and a spirit of fun into the classic tale, making it a must-see for theatre lovers of all ages.
Expect an evening filled with big laughs, playful sword fights, and typical British comedy that will delight both children and adults.
