Have you seen mini stolen from Ottery St Mary?

Police in Ottery St Mary are investigating the theft of a rare vintage car on 29th or 30th May.

The 1968 MKII Austin Mini Cooper was stolen from a car park at Otter Mills Switch Gear on Mill Street.

The owner went out from his home earlier today to find the car had been taken.

The car is white in colour with black wheels and a black roof with the registration mark NDV 919G.

Police are now investigating the theft and would like to speak with anyone who may have seen the £6,500 classic car being driven between the hours of 4.30pm on 29 May and 11am the following day.

A police spokesman said: “This is a fairly rare and distinctive vehicle and we would ask anyone who may have seen it or who comes into contact with the car to please ring and let us know.”
