Late night Car fire in Paignton

The fire service attended a car fire at Waterleat Road, Paignton last night.

One fire appliance from Paignton was mobilised to a report of a vehicle on fire.

Upon arrival crews used breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a dry powder extinguisher to extinguish the fire.

The cause was accidental which resulted in the vehicles engine compartment being severely damaged by fire.
