A major search on Dartmoor will resume this morning (29 November).
All 4 Dartmoor search and rescue teams (DSRT), Devon and Somerset Fire & Rescue Service, Devon Cave Rescue Organisation and the police have been involved in a major search for missing Ashburton man Morley Petherick.
Dartmoor search and rescue team Ashburton said on their website. this morning: “We finally stood down at 00:30 last night, 13 hours after the initial call out to the team. We left colleagues from the cave rescue teams to concentrate on some mine workings”

Dave Underhill, DSRT Ashburton Search Manager said “We are all concerned for Morley’s welfare. If anybody has any information on the whereabouts of Morley Petherick, please contact Devon & Cornwall Police by dialing 101.”
Morley has been missing from his home since Sunday.
Morley (pictured) who is aged 25 years is described as being a white man 5’7” in height, slim build, with dark short hair and facial stubble.
Police are carrying out local enquires in an effort to locate him and are appealing for help from the public.
