Man taken to hospital after cliff fall in Paignton

Emergency services were called to reports of a cliff faller at Roundham Headland this evening.

The RNLI inshore lifeboat was launched at 6.20pm.

Torbay Coastguard also attended the incident.

The male casualty was transferred by a stretcher to the inshore lifeboat to Paignton harbour, where he was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The mans condition is not currently known.

We will update when more information becomes available.

This is the second call out for Torbay RNLI after a teenager fell 30ft from cliffs in Torquay this afternoon.
