Man wanted for recall to prison

Police in Devon and Cornwall, area are seeking a 57-year-old man who has wanted for recall to prison.

Colin Steven Diggle, aka Steve Clarke, (pictured) was released from prison in early November on licence. He is thought to have since breached the terms of that licence.

Devon and Cornwall police are proactively following a number of lines of enquiry to ascertain his current location.

Police intend to arrest and question once he has been located.

He is described as being white, 6’1” tall, of proportionate build, with brown/grey hair with a beard. He has tattoos of a nude woman on his right arm and the name ‘Diane’ on both arms. He has tattoos on both sides of neck and throat, earrings in both ears

He has links to Norfolk, Yorkshire, Avon and Somerset, Gloucestershire, Lincolnshire, Staffordshire, West Mercia, Suffolk, Kent, Hertfordshire and Durham.

Police are appealing for anyone who has had recent contact with him to come forward and assist by calling Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.

Anyone seeing Diggle is advised to call police on 999 and not to approach him directly.
