Manadon Vale Primary School named as regional finalist in nationwide Frozen sing-along

Manadon Vale Primary School, based in Plymouth, has been named one of 12 regional finalists in a nationwide schools sing-along competition celebrating the launch of the highly anticipated World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris.

The campaign is being delivered in partnership by AttractionTickets.com, the UK’s leading theme park specialist and preferred UK launch partner for the World of Frozen, and world-leading educational publisher, Twinkl. The campaign engaged over 10,000 schools, each invited to rehearse and perform the iconic song ‘Let It Go’ from Disney’s Frozen.

Manadon Vale Primary School was selected as a regional finalist following a standout performance that impressed judges with exceptional teamwork, creativity and school spirit. The school group now progresses to the next stage of the competition, representing the South West.

Their entry is currently being judged by world-renowned singer Katherine Jenkins OBE, alongside representatives from Disneyland Paris, AttractionTickets.com, and Twinkl.

The final will see one winning school group earn a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform live at Disneyland Paris as part of the celebrations for the opening of World of Frozen – the largest expansion of the park to date. Families will also be able to share in the moment, with up to three family members invited to attend per child.

Angelica Costantini, VP Marketing and Sales at Disney Destinations International, said:

“The standard of entries has been exceptional, with schools across the country showcasing remarkable talent, creativity and enthusiasm. From schools like Manadon Vale Primary School to all twelve finalists, it’s incredibly special to see young voices come together in celebration of music and storytelling as we mark the opening of World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris.”

Chris Bradshaw, Marketing Director of AttractionTickets.com, said:

“Manadon Vale Primary School really impressed us, and their performance was full of energy, joy and confidence. It’s been fantastic to see so many schools bringing pupils together through music in such a positive and uplifting way. As the preferred UK partner for World of Frozen, we’re incredibly proud to play a part in giving young performers opportunities like this and helping them experience the magic of Disneyland Paris.”

The national winner will be announced by the end of April, following the final round of judging.
