Multi vehicle collision in Kingsteignton

Fire engine devon and Somerset

Emergency services were called to a multi vehicle collision in Priscott Way, Kingsteignton this afternoon (24 September) just before 4pm

The collision involved four vehicles.

One fire engine from Newton Abbot was mobilised to the incident.

All persons were free and clear of the vehicles upon the arrival of the Fire Service.

One vehicle was well alight and severely damaged by fire throughout.

One adjacent vehicle was slightly damaged by fire and heat.

The vehicles were extinguished by fire crews using two breathing apparatus wearers and two hose reel jets.

The fire service said:
“Ambulance tended to a two year old male on scene with possible neck injuries, the casualty was not conveyed to hospital”

Traffic in the area is still slow as the road is partially blocked, we will continue to update as information becomes available
