Get ready to sparkle and cycle this December!
Join Safe, Sustainable Travel Torbay (SSTT) for The Reindeer Ride, a short, family-friendly cycle set against the backdrop of the festive lights along the Bay of Lights trail.

📍 Meeting point: Cantina Torquay, Abbey Park
Whether you’re a seasoned rider or haven’t pedalled in years, this ride is for everyone. You’ll set off together in a welcoming, relaxed group, enjoying the seafront and festive light display. Every person who registers in advance will receive free reindeer antlers and jingle bells for their bike, so you’ll look and sound the part!
This isn’t just about bikes and lights, it’s about bringing the community together, supporting sustainable transport and offering safer, more inclusive public spaces as dusk falls. SSTT believes that when we choose active travel, we’re not only helping our own health and happiness, but also helping make Torbay’s streets more vibrant and accessible for all.
Spaces are free but limited, so please book ahead via Eventbrite.
Bring your bike (or let them know if you need a loan bike/e-bike), wear something festive and get ready to ride with the reindeer!
