Person hit by train in Totnes – Services disrupted.

Update: Unfortunately the woman has died. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

The line has reopened and First Great Western say they there are minor disruptions.

A person has been hit by a train in Totnes this morning.

The incident is reported to have happened just after 10am this morning.

First Great Western took to social media to update people.

Services in the area have been delayed or amended.

It is currently thought that delays between Plymouth and Exeter St Davids will be until at least 12.15pm
