The victim, a local man in his 50s, was approached by a group of five men believed to be aged in their early to mid-20s.

Police say the man was pushed to the ground, causing him to suffer a broken wrist and fractured pelvis.

Officers investigating the incident are seeking two suspects.

One is described as a white man, around 25 years old and approximately 5ft 8in tall. He had short, brown, curly hair which was slightly longer on top than at the back and sides.

He was wearing black knee-length shorts, a grey T-shirt and a black baseball cap worn backwards.

A second man from the group is described as a slim white man, approximately 5ft 4in tall and in his early 20s. He had similar hair and was also wearing shorts.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has information which could assist with their enquiries to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Devon and Cornwall Police online or by calling 101, quoting reference 50260191031.
