Police need the public’s help in identifying a man they would like to speak to in connection with a robbery in Torquay at the weekend.
A 32-year-old woman from Torquay was walking home on Saturday night when she met a 28-year-old man, who was a stranger to her, on Union Street.
They agreed to go for a drink in the Green Ginger pub, before going onto the Cashino on Market Street.
Sometime between 11.30pm on Saturday 4 October and 00.40am on Sunday 5 October they were walking along Castle Road, near the Education First Academy.

The man, who is described as having an Eastern European accent, took the woman’s handbag and then ran off.
Police would like to speak to the man pictured as he may be able to assist with the investigation.
Anyone who knows the man pictured is asked to call police on 101, quoting reference CR/112208/14, or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
