Detectives say the incident took place on Saturday, 8 November, when a woman sustained multiple injuries that required hospital treatment. Officers are seeking to speak with King as part of their ongoing investigation.

Detective Inspector Emma Lefort described the case as “extremely concerning,” warning that King may pose a danger to the public.
“We believe Tobias King poses a significant threat to women,” she said. “I am urging members of the public to report any sightings of him to us immediately by calling 999.”

Police have been conducting enquiries across several areas, but King remains outstanding.

King is known to have links to Plymouth, Seaton, Saltash, Chard, Yeovil and Colchester. He is described as around 6ft tall, with short blond hair and a beard, and may be seeking work on building sites.

Det Insp Lefort urged anyone with information — including those who may have had contact with King since 8 November — to come forward.
“I would urge anyone who sees King not to approach him and to call 999 immediately, quoting reference 50250287974.”

Anyone with non-urgent information can report it anonymously to Crimestoppers online or by calling 0800 555 111.
