Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Exeter.
Officers were called to Okehampton Road at around 8.30pm on Monday, 15 September, after receiving reports of an assault outside a property.
A man in his 40s sustained a knife wound to his hand and was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.
A 38-year-old man from Exeter was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm without intent. He has been released on police bail.
