Police appeal for witnesses after car roof damaged

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car roof was damaged in Ashburton.

The red Renault Megane Cabriolet was parked in Ashburn Gardens, near Roborough Lane, on Tuesday 18 November between 10am and 11am.

When the owner returned the new roof, which had recently been fitted, had been stabbed and slashed above the drivers’ side door, causing £700 worth of damage.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or saw someone in the area acting suspiciously at the time, is asked to call police on 101 quoting crime reference CR/123853/14. Or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or report online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
