Steamer Quay Road was temporarily closed while specialist forensic collision investigators carried out a detailed examination of the area.

Police are now asking for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam footage, to come forward if they have not yet spoken with officers.

Information can be submitted through the Devon and Cornwall Police website or by calling 101 and quoting log number 342 of 8/12/25.
