Police have appealed to the public for information and witnesses following a fatal collision in Paignton earlier this week.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a pedal cycle and a van, at around 7pm on Wednesday 5 February on Southfield Avenue.
Sadly, the cyclist, a local man in his 60s, passed away as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.
A local man in his 70s has since been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at a collision. He remains in police custody at this time.
The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene.
