Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision that occurred yesterday morning (Wednesday 30 April) on the A382 Monks Way, near the entrance to Bovey Tracey Golf Centre.
Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 8:20am after a grey Mazda car and a black Triumph motorcycle were involved in a collision.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed at this time.
The road was closed for several hours as officers from the Roads Policing team conducted a thorough investigation at the scene.
Police have asked for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has relevant dash-cam footage to come forward. Information can be submitted through the Devon and Cornwall Police website or by calling 101, quoting log number 142 of April 30, 2025.
