Devon and Cornwall Police have issued an updated appeal as concern grows for 34-year-old Jack Pillar, who was reported missing from Totnes last week.

Jack was last seen leaving his home in the Bridgetown area at around 1.28am on Wednesday, 22 October. Officers have been carrying out searches since then to confirm where he went and to help progress their enquiries.

Police are appealing to anyone who lives in or was near the Bridgetown area, Babbage Road Industrial Estate, or Steamer Quay car park in the early hours of 22 October to check any dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage for possible sightings.

Residents are also being asked to look in outbuildings, sheds, garages and gardens in case Jack has taken shelter locally.

Jack may be travelling on foot or by public transport, and he has known links to the Exeter and Paignton areas.

He is described as being around 6ft 2ins tall, of medium build, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark Go Ape jacket, grey cotton shorts, white socks and white or light-coloured trainers.

Anyone who sees Jack or has information about his whereabouts is urged to contact Devon and Cornwall Police immediately on 999, quoting log number 140 of 22 October.

Police are asking local residents to remain alert and to share this appeal to help locate Jack.
