The fire service were called to reports of a fire in Bronshill Road, Torquay this evening.
The Fire Service received a call reporting a fire a first floor bedroom at 7.48pm.
Two fire appliances attended. One from Torquay and one from Paignton.
Fire crews confirmed a three storey property measuring twenty metres by ten metres with a fire on the first floor.
The fire was extinguished by fire crews using two breathing apparatus wearers and one hose reel jet.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Fire Service and Police.
